Trigger Point Therapy for Hip Pain

I’ve Got The Miracle Cure For Hip Pain!

What? You don’t believe me? I’ll prove it to you. Here is the secret formula for my Miracle Cure for Hip Pain:

  • 2 parts snake oil
  • 2 parts boloney

Directions for Use: Just mix well and apply to the affected hip. Presto, no more hip pain!

But Seriously…

Please excuse my sarcasm, as hip pain disorders are really no joking matter. I wish I could tell you that I have discovered the cure for this debilitating and depressing condition, but the truth is that my hip pain cases have haunted me throughout my career. Unlike many of the other pain complaints that I see in my practice, there are no simple solutions for hip pain disorders. Despite this, I can offer my clients the one thing that they can’t seem to find in mainstream healthcare, a way to manage their pain without injections, pain pills, and surgery. If you learn to do the same thing, you can make a real difference in the lives of these long-suffering people.

Speaking of Baloney…

As ridiculous as my “miracle cure” joke may have seemed to you, there is a common assumption about hip disorders that I find just as far-fetched; hip pain is only caused by joint damage or disease. I’ve seen too many cases where there was ample evidence of joint disease with no resulting pain, (or excruciating hip pain with no evidence of joint disease) to accept this conclusion. If the hip joint was the sole cause of hip pain, then why do I have so many patients who have had hip replacement surgery and yet their hip pain persists?

Trigger Point Therapy for Hip Pain

The simple truth is that trigger points play a much larger role in hip pain disorders than most people realize. A therapist trained in trigger point therapy can be of tremendous value to the people who suffer from this devastating condition. But simply releasing a trigger point “here or there” is not going to help anybody. You need a well designed and tested trigger point therapy protocol to have any success with this pain complaint.

I’m not embarrassed to say that the treatment protocol that my husband and I developed over the last decade is the most effective approach that you will find for several reasons:

  • It address all the trigger points that refer pain to the hip region. Though there are only a handful of trigger points that directly refer pain to the hip joint, they all tend to be present at the same time and work as a team. Leaving just one trigger point unaddressed makes your treatment futile.
  • It addresses the trigger points in the muscles that are the prime movers the hip joint. These trigger points do not refer pain to the hip joint, but their activity prevents the normal use of the hip joint.
  • It address the trigger points in the synergistic and antagonistic muscles that can reactivate the primary hip trigger points after treatment. Neglecting to address these trigger points is why most trigger point therapy treatments for hip pain fail to achieve even moderate results.
  • It releases the trigger points in the correct order. With many secondary and satellite trigger points playing a prominent role in this disorder, it’s imperative to “unwind” the interactions between trigger points in the correct sequence.

And learning our protocol for the hip pain trigger points has never been easier with detailed instruction that includes:

  • A Composite Pain Presentation Diagram that allows you to see all the trigger points and their referred pain patterns in one glance.
  • A review of the Anatomical & Biomechanical details of each muscle incorporated into the protocol.
  • A complete list of the Symptoms & Clinical Findings associated with each trigger point, so that you can easily recognize their presence in your client’s complaint.
  • Step-by-Step Video Instruction showing how to locate and release every trigger point that is directly or indirectly involved with hip pain.

PDF Book: This purchase also includes a 117 page PDF book. Included in this book is the following:

  • A chapter for each muscle group covered in this protocol. Including anatomical and biomechanical details for each muscle group, locations, symptoms, clinical findings, and related disorders for all the trigger points in each muscle group.
